We are looking to work with students to identify new opportunities to achieve our business goals.

We are open to feedback about areas of focus, as we would like our assigned person or team to preform a comprehensive analysis of our business. We have shared a few high priority goals and desired benefits below to help guide you:

Challenges:

  • Our company is a Tier 1 & 2 approved supplier for several well known aerospace manufacturers. One of our major challenges is to provide on time delivery without increasing our inventory and keeping our costs down.
  • Our supply chain is complex; raw materials are very regulated, batch controlled and specific.
  • Most of the manufactured products require special testing and processes specified by OEMs with limited opportunities to decrease associated costs.
  • Several products have a higher risk of incurring in losses with less than 50% internal value added.
  • New product introduction requires a cycle of more than 6 months and up to 2 years for fully industrialization. Any new introduction requires upfront investment.
  • COVID-19 created an overall supply chain demand challenge which is going to take time to recover and utilize the current excess of inventory worldwide.
  • Aerospace manufacturing is technically very challenging and requires skilled workforce. COVID-19 is expected to create early retirements which will increase the already existing generation gap making very challenging to fulfill open positions in the next 5 years.
  • Current organization structure requires evolution to accommodate the upcoming demand model changes.
