We believe this project will include:
- Virtually facilitating a support group for individuals with addictions mental health issues
- Being a 'friendly visitor' to socially isolated individuals such as individuals struggling with mental health issues, minorities and newcomers
- Promoting mental health within communities
- Grief and loss support
- Cultural promotion for BIPOC communities through events and initiatives
- Community outreach, engagement, and/or community development
- Social justice and/or advocacy work, including social policy research and/or advocacy
The final deliverables should take the form of:
- A final report
- Stats of people supported and gap analysis
- A 30-minute presentation
Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.
Students will get support on culture awareness and promotion.

Empowering young women of color through various community initiatives and retreats. Advocating for inclusion for BIPOC in the community to reduce social inequalities and help ensure culture promotion as a catalyst to build strong connected communities.
