We at Local Grown Salads want to improve the world. As a result, we currently fit 14 out of the 17 UN sustainability goals.

some examples of what we do to improve the world is:

-Living wage

-Operate in opportunity zones

-provide food for food deserts

-Produce locally for locals

At this moment, we only have the basic CSR of what we find important and how to improve the world. We want to improve upon this in the following aspects:

  • Create an energy-saving analysis
  • Create a fuel-saving analysis
  • Assess our current CSR
  • Make recommendations on how to improve our current CSR
  • Implement the new CSR improvements

During this internship, students are treated as equals. We value their opinions and ask them to present their opinions to discuss the topics and potentially adapt our current CSR accordingly. With the main benefit of seeing all aspects of CSR and the effects on the rest of our firm. With giving interns the freedom to develop their skill set.

Skills students will develop:

  • Project management
  • Communication in a virtual environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Discord, Asana and GitLab
  • Taking responsibility
  • Presentation skills for a business environment.
