We would like students to help us establish a public presence aligned with our vision, mission, and sector.

Thrive 263 was created as a vehicle to support women of Zimbabwean heritage living in Canada to increase their participation in the Canadian economy. Thrive 263 catalyzes the financial inclusion of women through collective investment initiatives. Thrive is seeking to create digital presence by sharing their journey through an informational website, social media and other internal communications tools. We are looking to create a strategic communications plan that will raise profile, provide timely information and position for establishment of strategic relationships.

You will be working on content creation for our organization, including updating website, content creation, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to communications tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Develop/create communications strategy
  • Write content for new website and curate future articles to be uploaded later on website
  • Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics
  • Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization
  • Plan corporate events and identify key note speakers

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Students will have access to back-end website login to facilitate updating.
