application programming interface (api) self service technologies sql (programming language) purchasing web pages managementOVERVIEW
We are looking for students with intermediate-to-advanced API coding experience who want to practice implementing and testing their skills on a real-world business problem. Our system uses APIs to integrate information from 3 different sources into a set of database tables housed on our website. Those tables then generate user pages which act as the interface for user self-service management. The process is common, but our system is custom, so that's where the intermediate-to-advanced skillset comes in. The task now is to create a developer portal within our system for our developers who will use the system to access and submit documents as well as track time.
PROJECT SCOPE
This goal of this project is to create a unique developer interface and experience within our Self-Service-Management System that integrates multiple accounts, processes, and forms.
To accomplish this you will need to:
- Develop some conditional coding in the API
- Design and integrate multiple web pages and webforms
- Refer to our education platform's API reference library
- Develop and test the program
- Document how to update the program
We will provide you with access to organizational assets that support the project. No software purchases are required to complete this.
We have mentorship available from previous students who worked on elements of our existing system.
You'll also received project-specific guidance as well as career coaching from our executive team.
You will be under direct project supervision as well as have documentation to refer to.
