Fossil fuels provide us with the ability to travel, heat our homes, and power the products we use everyday. However, it is socially important to use the pipeline assets that we have as efficiently and responsibly as possible. At Venturi, we are reimagining energy transportation by developing real-time applications to optimize equipment use, power consumption and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through machine intelligence, data science and analytics. WE ARE LOOKING FOR ONE (1) STUDENT TO START BY SEPTEMBER 13th, 2021. TIME COMMITMENT PER STUDENT IS 70 HOURS OVER A PERIOD OF 7 WEEKS. Responsibilities As Marketing Analyst you will : Compile and analyze the market data from competitors, clients and government grant research. Work closely with the founders , sales, product, and operations to support employee and customer communication, messaging and positioning, value proposition development, and sales enablement. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AT LEAST THREE (3) STUDENTS TO START BY NOVEMBER 1st, 2021. TIME COMMITMENT PER STUDENT IS 70-100 HOURS OVER A PERIOD OF 2-3 MONTHS. PROJECT MENTOR NAME: Anthony Chan (CEO & Co-Founder), Jordon French (Technical Project Lead) As a Data Analyst you have: Technical Skills. You are a Data Scientist student with fundamental academic experience in data wrangling, filtering and visualization. You have a desire to learn to build, maintain, and develop various energy dashboards in an environment that will allow you to contribute meaningfully to our organization in a short time and learn from senior members of the team. Tech Stack: Python, R, VBA, Power BI, SQL Skills: Data Visualization, Algorithmic Problem Solving, Statistical Analysis, Technical Writing, Technical Documentation Responsibilities Develop visual dashboards for pipeline energy analytics. Perform data filtering and wrangling on the dataset. Write, review and develop technical reports in a concise and timely manner. Follow proper engineering practices. Adhere to all relevant internal standards. Initiate meetings, correspondence, and discussion with staff members. Develop knowledge and proficiency with the use of data analytic and visualization tools. You Should Have Drive.
