Beulah and the Ivory Tour is very passionate about working with students and helping them succeed! She takes care to walk the students through the project and help them understand the work they will be doing. While this enthusiasm is greatly appreciated, it is important to note that there were some complications around communication and attendance. Feedback from the students indicated that it was sometimes rather difficult to get in touch with Beulah over email and Zoom. This was also experienced by the instructor. Due to these issues, some of our students struggled to receive the support they would have liked. When Beulah was present, she was clearly motivated by the work. I understand that her business keeps her rather busy (which is great!), but it did take longer than expected to receive feedback from Beulah regarding the student projects. However, the feedback was thorough and thoughtful. I recognize that the nature of this particular project was very fast-paced, which may have contributed to these challenges.
