Mentorship Program Design & Development

We are currently in the process of growing our grassroots collective, and have rebranded from Womxn Offering Wisdom to the South Asian & Tamil Women's Collective. We would like a student to help us with developing a culturally responsive mentorship/career development program for young South Asian and Tamil women (ages 15 -25). We have received a small number of funds to develop this program over the year and launch it by spring 2022. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization, and be provided growth and development opportunities. We believe this project will involve: Source sponsors and design care/welcome packages for all program participants [I.e. outreach emails, products, etc.] Support with resource creation for program participants [mentorship program guides, onboarding, curriculum materials, etc.] Students will be provided access to organization information as required, including access to google folder and documents. The primary goal of implementing a mentorship/career development for young South Asian & Tamil women is to support during a time of uncertainty around career pathways/future of work and support overall well-being with a community care approach. We hope to gain an understanding of what components should be included and on implementation strategies.
