Graduate-level student-consultants will build a responsive website and create branding materials for you to implement in marketing campaigns.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

Final deliverables include:

  • A Situation Analysis.
  • A Logo Design Proposal.
  • A Branding Guide.
  • Communications Designs (ex. letterhead, business cards, etc.).
  • Digital Marketing Strategy.
  • A Responsive Website (minimum of 5 web pages).
  • A Campaign Plan Book.

The student agency teams will pitch their campaign plan to your organization at the end of the semester. You may select a winner and utilize their design work. Please note that students are not responsible for implementing the communications plan, launching the website, or making edits to completed projects.

Project Examples

Requirements

Starting in January, a class of ~20 Master's-level student-consultants will spend over 600 hours working in teams to strategically refresh your organization's brand and online presence. Students will be divided into "agency" teams. The number of teams will depend on the number of students enrolled in the course. Typically, client organizations will work with four teams of students who will brainstorm and develop unique strategies and communication concepts that serve the client's needs and audiences.

Student teams will be guided by strategic research and client feedback channels to deliver a suite of marketing and branding assets for your organization.

Student-consultants will complete the following:

  • Redesign an existing logo or create a new logo.
  • Develop branding materials.
  • Provide research data and insights.
  • Design and build a responsive website (minimum of 5 web pages).
  • Propose a digital marketing plan

Example project niches include, but are not limited to:

  • Nonprofits
  • Startups
  • Service businesses
  • Restaurants

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Submit all content - text, photos, announcements - at the start of the project period.

Be available for student questions and clarifications including a design consultation

Minimum of 2-4 interactions with the student teams remotely (approximately 4-6 hours over the duration of the project).
