Learners
Phase 1 Project Plan: Students will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome - Tools and Presentation: Student teams will provide research, branding, and web tools for your organization. Each student team will present their campaign to your organization at the end of the semester. Presentations will review the following deliverables:
- Situation Analysis
- Logo Design Proposal
- Branding Guide
- Communication Designs (ex. letterhead, business cards, etc.)
- Fully Functioning Responsive Website
- Campaign Book

Project Examples
Requirements
Starting this May, a class of student-consultants in groups of two will spend 1,200 collective hours developing a fully responsive website and a refreshed brand for your organization.
Based on research and client feedback channels, student-consultant groups will redesign an existing logo or create a new logo, develop branding materials, and provide research insights that will be integrated into your new website.
Project examples include, but are not limited to:
- A nonprofit website.
- A website for a startup.
- A website for a service business.
- A website for a hotel or restaurants with reservations.
Additional company criteria
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
A representative from the organization must meet at the start of the project to discuss the project requirements with the student teams.
A representative from the company must be available to answer emails at least once per week.
A representative must be available to provide feedback to students throughout the semester.
A representative must be present for the final presentations.
