Our students have the skills to create and manage organizational process change as well as an understanding of how to gather, document, and communicate stakeholder requirements. Students are well suited to recommend and evaluate solutions, provide quality assurance criteria, perform some data modeling and project management. We are looking to create a first-time mentorship opportunity for our students by pairing them with a skilled business analyst at your company who can mentor and support our students through a small project.

Cambrian College's Computer Programming - Internet of Things program offers first-year learners the opportunity to engage in practical, hands-on projects that enhance their technical and employability skills. Students will collaborate in teams to design and implement IoT systems, gaining valuable experience in project management, data analysis, and testing. Through this course, learners aim to build a comprehensive understanding of integrating hardware, software, and communications in real-world applications. As an employer, your role is crucial. We expect you to maintain regular communication with the learners, provide essential guidance and information, and participate virtually in the final presentation. Your constructive feedback will help shape the learning experience, ensuring that students receive professional insights as they navigate their projects on the Riipen platform.

This experience is designed for learners in the Honours Bachelor in Business Administration program, focusing on applying theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges. Participants will leverage their skills in business management, decision-making, and professional communication to develop practical solutions for organizational needs. Through this experience, learners will engage in project management, research, and stakeholder interaction, culminating in a comprehensive business project that aligns with industry requirements.
