virtual health clinical study design program evaluation anemiaTo complete a study design for a virtual health care program for people with iron deficiency (ID) and iron deficiency anemia (IDA) that is supported by a companion app. The purpose of this program is to address the triple aim of healthcare (patient engagement/satisfaction, reduced costs, improved quality) for patients with ID/IDA.
- Literature review of similar virtual care programs and their clinical designs (e.g. Virta, Noom), identification of any ID/IDA specific programs
- Program evaluation study design
- Estimated costs to implement including providers, technology, etc.
- Estimated cost savings by different types of payers (self insured, insurance companies)
- Estimated improvement in health quality metrics for providers and hospital systems.
Senior members of the Synthera Health team including the CEO will be available to meet with students weekly.
