This project is specifically for the Level UP program. We are open to exploring other opportunities with professors and program coordinators. Please reach out to Jeff Elliott for a conversation.

2 students required for 160 hours of work on the first phase of this project.

Project

Create promotional scripts from the presentations of our speakers. The creative team will have to understand the main message of the presentation and decide what best captures the meaning and intent of the speaker to focus on when creating promotional scripts from that presentation video.

Students will create at least 10 promotional scripts.

Students will receive Indigenous Awareness Education, and shown examples of the product. They will have to research, view videos, write, and engage with each speaker to ensure that the video product captures the main ideas.

Goals: to create a full set of Indigenous Engagement Sheets for the first group of speakers.

Skills Requirement: research, formatting, interview and listening skills, as well as a willingness to be creative and learn about the messages of our speakers and how to best capture those ideas in a short promotional script.
