It was built to help parents create time and space for what’s most important - ourselves, our children and our families.
The load of scheduling, coordinating and managing children’s schedule is a full-time job. With AI Assistants, we don’t need to miss moments because of last minute changes or updates to when and where.
Our AI Assistant does the heavy lifting of reading, scanning and scheduling as things update so you don't have to.
Those Kids is looking to create unified design language for the website and unified brand identity across website, email and social media.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Understanding of our target consumer and their challenges
- Research into the competitors to see what they are doing
- Website Prototypes: Landing page (mobile and desktop), CTA to waitlist, and Onboarding flow
- Brand guide: Logo, taglines, and color schemes
- Social Media Home Pages - Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin
By the end of this project, teams will have helped a stealth startup design an experience (across web, mobile, and social) that resonates with the target persona.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
Design-focused research and competitive analysis of products in "Family Tech" (AI and traditional services like Cozi, Yohanna, and Care.com)
Product Design Language
Use findings from research on competitors and personas to
- Design First Experience - Design a cohesive platform UI/UX (mobile, desktop, and SMS). The team will design a series of websites design to generate interest, sign up for the waitlist, and onboarding into the product. Website Redesign - Please consider the website landing experience, how our funnel should be experienced, the balance and transition between engaging on an emotional level about the needs of mothers, and also the product features of the AI Assistant.
- (--Bonus--) Conversational Product Design. Much of the app's interaction with the user is over text. The team designs what that initial interaction will be like.
Brand and Visual Identity - Propose brand guidelines, including visual identity (brand guidelines, logo, social media templates, and taglines).
- Emails - Please consider how an Email might look. “Thank you for subscribing.” “Updates to the AI Assistant.” etc. We use MailChimp.
- Social Media Lockups - Render how text-based content posts and/or heavy imagery would work on social and is connected back to the imagery, flavor, and feel on the landing page. Please include the following: Facebook page, FB & IG posts - On our IG profile, please share how our content might tile if we had both word-heavy and photography-heavy posts. Note, less is more for us as we are a young brand.
DELIVERABLES:
- Presentation to the CEO
- Figma, Canva template, and/or design files.
NOTES:
We are working with moms to help socialize the AI Assistant as they post on Facebook and other mommy blogs in their communities.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Access to recorded user interviews, website analytics
- Names of competitors to understand the market
- Career guidance and references as needed
