The main goal of this project is to plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade security measures for the protection of Smile Genius' data, systems and networks

Groom the learners mindset as a Cyber Analyst

The Learner to be exposed to,

• programming for cybersecurity
• Frameworks and controls that inform security operations
• Use of security information and event management (SIEM) tools for cybersecurity
• Detecting and responding to incidents
• Amongst other learning experience

This will involve several different steps for the learners, including:

• Analyzing the existing security measures of Smile Genius Dental and create / offer suggestions for our security policy
• Analyzing networks and systems and assessing areas for improvement
• Researching other security measures that can be implemented
• Review the process for vulnerability testing and help develop any best proactive policies to keep up with the current cybersecurity landscape 
• Detecting and analyzing any incidents, review incident reporting, and create an incident response plan
• Develop knowledge of cybersecurity analyst tools including data protection; endpoint protection; SIEM; and systems and network fundamentals.
• Key compliance and threat intelligence topics important in today’s cybersecurity landscape.
• Develop incident responses and forensics with possible company data cybersecurity

A walk through of the product, mentorship time with our engineering team and overall supervision

Encourage taking initiative aligned with supervision

Engage students in hands-on, project-based activities that require them to apply their cybersecurity knowledge and skill.
