Work with our team at Slate Strategies and outdoorvoyage.com and help us grow our business by creating and implementing effective marketing strategies. As a Social Media Marketing and Influencer Strategy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of digital marketing while working on real projects that will help drive our business forward. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and learn from their expertise.

The main goal of this project is to increase our customer base by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies. Specifically, we want to:

  • Increase engagement on our social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook)
  • Develop and implement a social media contest strategy to attract new customers
  • Create and send weekly email marketing campaigns to our subscriber list
  • Fill our sales funnels with high-quality clients

Deliverables

As a Marketing and Influencer Strategy Intern, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assist with developing and implementing social media marketing strategies
  • Create engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook)
  • Develop and implement a social media contest strategy to attract new customers
  • Assist with managing and building relationships with influencers
  • Create and send weekly email marketing campaigns to our subscriber list
  • Monitor and analyze the success of our marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement

KPIs:

  • 2-3 social media posts per week on Instagram and Facebook
  • Increase engagement on our social media platforms
  • Develop and implement a social media contest strategy
  • Create and send at least one weekly email marketing campaign
  • Increase the open rate of our email marketing campaigns by 15%
  • Assist with managing and building relationships with at least 3 influencers =
  • Provide weekly progress reports and updates on the status of each task

Mentorship
