IISB's team is creating a variety of Indigenous Education Videos. We are looking for indigenous students wanting to have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of videography experts and others, in the creation of multiple videos that will have tremendous impact in our communities.

We are looking for Indigenous student video editors with creative and technical skill and a passion for making a positive difference in the world.

The students will be able to enhance and develop their pre-production, production, and post-production skills, such as editing, storyboarding and scripting. The student must be willing to work as a team member and have a geniune interest in elevated Indigenous perspectives and education.

Outcomes for Students

  • Meet with experts and professionals from many different industries around the globe.
  • Develop a greater sense of connection with Indigenous people through our unique multi-cultural sensitivity and awareness experiences.
  • Develop a personal/professional portfolio of work to enhance a resume and a skill set.
  • Develop high level skills, using industry standard software, and be supervised by professionals in a variety of fields

Duties:

• attend scheduled virtual planning meetings

• participate in IISB orientation and training

• collaborate with teams to create educational materials for videos

• scripting, editing various content for the creation of education videos

Opportunites:

Goals:

IISB goal is to have the student assist us in creating as many short educational videos as feasible, dependant on student skill set and efficiency.

Renumeration:

Each 80 hour project allocation to a student will recieve a $1400 stipend upon completion.
