Details

The project aims to analyze Joey Coleman's book Never Lose an Employee Again to identify specific strategies that can enhance the emotional journey of employees during their period with our company. The focus will first be on understanding the 8 phases of employee experience: Assess, Admit, Affirm, Activate, Acclimate, Accomplish, Adopt, and Advocate. Then, selecting ideas for what we can use for each stage.

The goal is to provide actionable recommendations that Practice PPE Exams can implement to create a more supportive and engaging emotional journey during the entire duration they are with the company. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of organizational behaviour and human resources management to real-world scenarios, fostering a deeper understanding of employee engagement and retention strategies.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include:

  • a comprehensive Google Sheet that outlines the 8 employee steps and all the case study examples from the book, as well as a column of suggested ideas that the students recommend we implement.
  • a presentation will be prepared to communicate these findings and recommendations to Practice PPE Exams. The report and presentation should be clear, concise, and actionable, providing the company with practical suggestions for all 8 phases.
