PROJECT DESCRIPTION/DESCRIPTION DU PROJET:

Scale Collaborative is a group of companies focused on social innovation and the social economy. We support a number of initiatives, including the BC Social Procurement Initiative (www.bcspi.ca). The BCSPI helps local governments across BC to align their spending to local community outcomes through social procurement. We currently have 30 government members, and are looking for a student team to take on mapping, market research and developing case studies. This project will help support governments to source more from local and social enterprise suppliers, and support local economies, part of helping communities recover from COVID-19.
