Grafley is seeking qualified individuals to analyze and assess compliance with regulatory standards in Canada for its upoming launch of 'no sugar added' ice cream.
Goals:
- a comprehensive list of standards and regulations pertaining to launch of ice cream in Ontario (and Canada)
- an audit of current process and practices to ensure compliance + summary of findings
- documentation of industry best practices and trends in the food industry
- recommendations (short-term and long-term) for compliance and sustainment of operations
Includes compliance with established standards for (and not limited to):
- food packaging
- labeling (NFT, logo, certifications, declarations)
- manufacturing process
- marketing declarations, certifications, and call-outs
- operations, logistics and warehousing
No deliverables exist for this project.
Students will meet on a regular basis to address any challenges and guide their work. Resident knowledge of food industry will be made available to qualified candidates.
