Details

The objectives for student are to design and create 3 to 4 additional web pages for our website. Additionally, they may assist with writing or improving website copy text. They may be adding CSS, HTML and Java Script to make the web pages more functional. They may be asked to setup automations between various tools that work with out website. This project is more suitable to a Web Design with strong design skills who may have basic front-end development skills.


Deliverables

We are seeking a talented and motivated college or university student to join our team as a Designer with a focus on frontend software development and proficiency in Webflow. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience while working on exciting website projects.


  • Collaborate with the supervisor to design and create visually appealing and user-friendly front-end designs for our news website.
  • Design and create additional 3 to 4 new webpages on the website.
  • They may asked to add HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to website to ensure they are visually more appealing.
  • We may be using the Webflow to build and maintain web content, ensuring consistency and quality across different devices and platforms.
  • Conduct testing and to ensure optimal performance and functionality of design.
  • Information Gathering: Strong research skills to gather up-to-date information on web design, UI/UX Design and user experience.



Mentorship

The mentor will provide guidance, training, and feedback to support students in completing their assigned tasks and projects. They will offer clear instructions and resources, helping students understand the expectations and develop their hard skills. The mentor will regularly review their work, provide constructive feedback, and assist in problem-solving. They will foster collaboration, offer career advice, and motivate students, creating a supportive environment that promotes personal and professional growth throughout the placement.
