Details

We already have a web application with customers in Canada and the United States.

For our condo and homeowner association clients, we would like to expand our features to include a customer support/ticketing system.

Planning for this feature started with a previous Springboard project. The initial project conducted customer research, competitive market analyses, identification of key features and created initial low-fidelity wireframes.

This project will build on their work. Lo-fidelity wireframes will be further developed into mid-high fidelity wireframes. Initial testing with the wireframes with key customers will serve to validate initial designs as well as identify missing aspects.

Deliverables
  1. Project Plan- Identify milestones and set a timeline for the project
  2. Review requirements and explore competitors- Familiarize themselves with the existing product to understand the requirements, design work, and feedback that already exists, and to identify gaps to be filled in the next stage.
  3. Design Audit, User Interviews- conduct customer interviews to identify a set of priority needs and/or features and identify user flow to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  4. Summarize key findings and recommendations, or documentation of user testing sessions to understand users’ experience of insights into the proposed new feature
  5. Low Fidelity Design recommendations- design flows for the distinct user types. Workshop ideas and turn those into wireframes or mockups that show exactly how the solution could work. Further test and iterate as time allows.
  6. FinalizeHandoff all deliverables and findings in a package that allows for your work to be easily understood and incorporated into future projects.

Mentorship

BoardSpace is an online portal for the volunteer directors and administrators of condos, HOAs, non-profits and charities. BoardSpace overcomes the daunting task of looking after hundreds of documents, attending lots of meetings, preparing agendas, approving minutes and keeping on top of to-lists by providing boards with the tools to get their work done more efficiently and in less time.

Pat Crosscombe founded BoardSpace due to her experience on a condo board. BoardSpace is on a mission to organize the boards of directors of the world and was built by a team that understands the needs of condo and non-profit boards.
