brand awareness strategic communication marketing planning marketing time management communication operations research demographyIn our efforts to target specific demographics important to our sector (international relief and development), we have experienced capacity challenges in developing an integrated communications and marketing plan. We want you to assist us in developing a Strategic Communications and Marketing Plan to target current and potential members organizations, peer organizations, government actors and Global Affairs Canada, civil society, academia.
For this project, you will need to:
- Understand our brand and mission.
- Conduct research on our users, stakeholders, and competitors.
- Analyze our competitive landscape.
- Identify trends and opportunities in our target market.
You will be working with a Canada Summer Jobs employee and have access to both the Director of Operations and Programs and Executive Director, who will communicate regularly with you and provide all the information and clarification needed.
We want to increase our brand awareness for important stakeholders through a mission-aligned marketing campaign that works within our budget and time constraints.
We are a small organization that facilitates a large network. You will work in coordination with the Director of Operations & Programs (DOP) and Executive Director (ED) to complete this project. This entails having weekly staff meetings, and regular access to both the DOP and ED.
You will also have access to all CCRDA activities throughout the project, including webinars, events, and our Members Portal. This access opens the door for networking among our 50+ member organizations and other important stakeholders within the relief and development sector in Canada.
About the company
The CCRDA is a group of over 50 Christian relief & development agencies, working in over 100 countries, investing in excess of $800 million dollars, seeking flourishing lives and communities internationally. It is the mission of the CCRDA to unify and equip the Christian relief and development workforce with the tools they need to do their jobs with unity and excellence. We provide a forum to explore the relationship of Christian principles to international relief and development, facilitate collaboration, and promote the sharing of information, experience and expertise.
The vision of the CCRDA is to see thriving individuals and communities internationally. We work with many organizations so the impact of our work is multiplied across Canada and the world. This multiplication reduces the duplication of work and increases collaboration, unity and effectiveness in program delivery.
