Jixx Financial provides financial, operational and growth acceleration services to early stage companies and technology startups. We hope to revamp our social media marketing to attract more customers.

We would like to work with students to design a new social media marketing campaign, and post content promoting our company. Our target market are early stage companies and technology startups looking to obtain better accounting and financial services.


This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our company’s services, social media campaign goals and target market.
  • Planning types of campaign content to create for each channel.
  • Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc.
  • Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign.
  • Creating a social media content calendar that outlines important steps in the campaign.
  • Deploying content according to our social media calendar to increase website traffic.
  • Recommending topics for our blog posts.
  • Drafting blog posts relevant to our business.


Bonus steps in the process would also include:

  • Recommending social media management tools to schedule our content.
  • Recommending search engine optimization (SEO) strategies so our materials are easily accessible.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of our company’s services and goals
  • Identification of types of campaign content to create
  • Identification of metrics to monitor the campaign’s success
  • Creation of a social media content calendar to organize the campaign
  • Deployment of marketing content
  • Recommendation of blog post topics
  • Drafts for relevant blog posts

Bonus steps would include:

  • Recommending social media management tools
  • Recommending blog marketing strategies
  • Recommending SEO strategies

Final deliverables should include

  • A final report with a social media content calendar.
  • Marketing materials
  • Blog posts
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • Our current products and social media marketing
  • Our customer and industry insights
  • A walkthrough / tutorial of our marketing strategies, products and services
  • Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
