The main goal for the project is to create a comprehensive scholarship database for CAYOP Inc. This database will serve as a platform for students to access various scholarship opportunities, helping them to find funding for their education. Students will work to compile a list of scholarships, which will be available publicly.
Sales Outreach Project for WeFlex - with commission
The main goal for the project is to engage students to work on sales for our subsidiary start-up WeFlex. Students will search and contact businesses who may be looking for a website, search engine optimization, and social media management services. Additionally, students will need to familiarize themselves with a grant program that we are encouraging companies to use to help them pay off their expenses and provide information to businesses about it. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching potential businesses in need of web solutions. - Contacting businesses to offer website, SEO, and social media management services. - Familiarizing themselves with the grant program and providing information to businesses.
Career Resources for High School and Post-Secondary Students
The main goal for the project is to prepare career resources for high school and post-secondary students, including a list of "How to become" resources using templates. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Researching various career paths and the necessary steps to enter those fields. - Writing blogs and brochures on "How to become" resources for different career paths. CAYOP will provide students access to some resources, guidelines, and continuous support.
Funding Proposal Development
The main goal of this project is to develop a proposal for funding that would enable CAYOP to provide free posting for non-profit organizations to share professional development opportunities. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Developing the key objectives of the proposal. - Contacting and getting confirmation from organizations to use CAYOP. - Researching other funding sources and potential partners. - Developing a budget for the project. - Writing the proposal and submitting it to potential funders.
Digital Content Creation
Students creating content for students We would like students to help us with creating content that drives traffic to our website. We are specifically interested in content that engages students and youth (ages 15-30). We will work with the students to outline our specific goals, the lessons we have learned, and the strategy we are currently employing. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Cayop, sharing certain posts on our social media accounts, managing a LinkedIn newsletter, and sharing educational/motivational content on social media. Students could also work with our partner organizations to create custom posts and a review of the services delivered by the organization. About Cayop Cayop is a newly launched platform for Canadian youth opportunities. We aim to connect youth and students with the latest opportunities, including internships, hackathons, forums/conferences, and funding for youth-led initiatives. We are a small start-up based on Ottawa.
Youth Opportunities Database
Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums. The main goal of this project is to create a database of youth opportunities, in particular opportunities in the area of student competitions, student hackathons, youth conferences/forum, youth council. Cayop already has a large database with opportunities. However, interns will work to refine the list, and build a larger database of opportunities. Training and continuous guidance will be provided.
Develop Online Course
The main goal for the project is to create an online course on crafting winning Resumes and Cover Letters to secure employment with the Government of Canada. The course will provide all the knowledge required to develop your resume or cover letter for anyone that wants to get a job in the government. It will be hosted on Thinkific and will be created in collaboration with NextStep Government Careers. Students will be provided the material from a published book and must familiarize themselves with the Thinkific platform. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Creating scripts for the online course using provided material - Producing video content for the course - Developing quiz questions/quiz modules - Familiarizing themselves with the Thinkific platform An interim deliverable will be a course plan before the course is actually created.

Canada-Africa Relations Student Policy Competition
The main goal for the project is to organize a student policy competition on Canada-Africa relations. The competition aims to engage university students from across Canada to provide policy recommendations to the Government of Canada on what it needs to focus on in its relations with African states as it is currently looking to develop a strategy. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Reaching out to universities to register to participate in the competition. - Soliciting sponsorships and partnerships. - Preparing initial marketing materials.

The main goal of the project is to organize and run a youth competition focused on promoting innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The competition aims to engage youth in creating solutions that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Assisting in promoting the competition to attract participants. - Soliciting sponsorships to support the competition. - Grading and evaluating submissions from participants. - Providing guidance and input on all aspects of the competition.

Sales Representative - with Commission
Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums. As a Sales Representative, your job will be to reach out to organizations and firms that have an active opportunity that they can post on Cayop. This includes internships, hackthons, conferences/forums, funding programs, youth council positions etc. You will also work on developing a proposal for organizations to get annual subscription with Cayop. Orientation and on-going support will be provided. You will also get commission (20% of sales) for any single posts or monthly subscription. Fors monthly/annual subscriptions, the commission only applies for the first month's amount, and is not recurring.
Campus Representative

As such, we are looking for interns to help us reach students and youth from across Canada to create a profile on cayop.ca.
