Social Justice through Social Media
Positions available: 1 Are you someone who has creative ideas about how to deliver messages of social justice through social media? Are you someone who knows the ins and outs of the latest social trends and how to reach people in such a way that moves them to participate? The Unique Get Together Society has a busy roll out for 2021 and could use some help with curating social media plans that communicate the various ways that we are there for families and individuals in need during hard times. Project Areas Include: - Collaborating with the Marketing Manager/Senior Management team to create social media ideas to support campaigns that include timely call to action and growth for UGTS. - Research ways that the social media plan can be improved - Upload social to accounts on a weekly basis - Oversee Facebook/Instagram and Google Adwords and research SEO best practices Experience Gained: ~ Increased knowledge of social media campaigns through the lens of working with a non-profit ~ Being part of a movement that is improving the lives of those in need ~ Growth in how to work with a marketing team Note: this project could possibly grow into more depending on how the relationship goes.
Videographer/Vlog Coordinator
Do you have a passion to be the change you want to see in the world? Are you a story teller through the art of visual arts? Are you looking to grow your Videography portfolio? Unique Get Together Society (UGTS) has a busy 2022 coming around the corner and would like to add a talented audiovisual person to the team to create compelling videos to go along with their social media campaigns, blogs and much more. Project Areas Include: - Collaborating with the Marketing Team to come up with compelling content that can share stories in social media campaigns - Upload and manage the growth of the UGTS YouTube Channel to grow our audience. - Help the Event Manager and Marketing Manager with the Walk for Trauma Media content. Areas of Experience Required: - Working knowledge of best video practices - Access to basic filming equipment to fulfill the role Note: This role could likely grow into more work beyond the end of the project.

Positions Available: 5 Students, individually or as a team working collaboratively Project Scope 1) On-Boarding and Training - Gain familiarity with the context (company strategy and goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) and update the competitive analysis to reflect recent changes. 2) Behavioral Assessment – Interns will be given access to Werrv's management tools (including https://get.luckyorange.com/ , Google Analytics and https://www.klaviyo.com/ to analyze customer behavioral patterns and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates (CRO) and critique our advertisement campaign focus. Based on recommendations, interns will be given an opportunity to test hypothesize to improve results through A/B testing of content, preparing customer online surveys and other means. 3) SEO Improvement Plan - Review Werrv's existing SEO Improvement Plan for both Domain Authority and Page Authority which will be shared with Interns. Over the duration of the internship Interns will be involved in executing SEO improvements, including content creation in the form of blog posts, buyers guides and SEO meta tags for Collections. 4) Social Media – Assess current use and voice of Social media platforms (refer to separate Social Media Strategy document and identify the best opportunities to engage our target audiences. Prioritize the best opportunities for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and most recently, TikTok. Produce interesting content pieces to improve engagement. Our retail website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools.

Our Electrical and/or Biomedical Engineering Intern will join our development team REMOTELY. You will be part of the team responsible for the set-up and execution of the in vitro study. You will work on all electrical aspects of the devices to be used and also on the device to be developed. You will be responsible of setting up the generator and the oscilloscope that will serve for our trial.
