Non-Profit Grant Writing & Research
We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications for our clients. This position can turn into a part-time position and then a full-time position depending on the success of the candidate. The candidate will learn a lot about the non-profit sector and fundraising in general. This project will include: Writing grants for fantastic charities in Canada Researching additional qualified funders for our clients Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project. Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
Multidisciplinary Creatives - February 2024
This project will begin following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to participate in producing diverse creative deliverables for public dissemination and consumption. All participants are expected to possess the adaptability and willingness to navigate and compose within diverse stylistic and structural conventions, spanning multiple subject domains, reinforcing the holistic and encompassing nature of this initiative
Website Development
We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to edit our current website to ensure that it is easy to navigate while also providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through the platform we utilize- Wix. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
