The Business Continuity Team, comprised of students, Anu Kucheekkarran and Clement Dakat, did an outstanding job with our first project through Bow Valley College. The finished product - a Business Continuity & Cybersecurity Plan, was thorough, covered all of the applicable rules and regulations associated with these types of plans, and most importantly, reflected the realities of our business model. Clement and Anu were willing, demonstrated active listening skills, and were able to translate the murkiness of the regulations into a living document that will serve our organization in good stead over the coming years. Their knowledge and experience informed the creation of the document and they were able to transfer that knowledge to the business unit managers that would be required to enact the policies and processes for which they would be responsible. It was a pleasure to work with them and I wish them well with their future endeavours.

For W.A. Robinson Asset Management Ltd., this was our first experience working with both Riipen and Bow Valley College. We went into this program with high expectations and we were not disappointed. The quality of students assigned and the product produced were excellent. The students were enthusiastic, willing to learn, flexible, and cheerful - which makes such a difference! The supervision and coaching provided by their Professor, Noor was perfect - she coached and counselled - all in the background - but I could see improvement in the students every week. She monitored our weekly checkpoint calls, was present, but allowed the students to lead and to problem-solve on their own. All in all, an enriching experience, and one that we would repeat!
