I really enjoyed working with Sheena and Jason for the time I served here as a composer. My second semester was extremely stressful because of graduation year courses and it took me a while to refocus on the internship but Sheena was so patient and understanding while I eventually got back on my feet. If I could, I would gladly intern here again. You’ll love it :). It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills with a great amount of creative liberty.

Working for the TV Studio has completely changed my life! It has given me a purpose and has created lots of projects for my portfolio. The people in the studio are all likeminded and love to help with any project.

Sheena and Jason were excellent to work with! They were encouraging and fostered a safe and healthy work/learning environment!

Despite circumstances leading us to having only one team lead for the majority of the semester, Sheena did a fantastic job as our coordinator.

I had an excellent experience at the TV Studio Winter Internship 2023.

This was an excellent opportunity to get involved in every stage of the production process. Sheena set clear expectations, timelines, roles, and outcomes for a small army of interns. She also provided prompt, thorough feedback. If MacEwan folk want a career in media production, the TV studio is where to be. While this program may not run again at the scale it did during the 2022/23 year, MacEwan Media Production has set up its bones as a brand and viability as an operation to create content for both internal and external clients. -zd

Had an amazing time working with the studio this semester. It was a great experience being able to work and create in that environment. I hope to do more work with MacEwan's TV Studio in the future.

All the skills I learned with this internship have been invaluable and I mean to take those skills with me into my future career. An excellent team of collaborators who were always helpful and appreciated.

Great department to work with, always lots to do!

Working with the Department of Communication at MacEwan University was a fantastic experience. Jason Malenko and Sheena Rossiter were great overseers of this project.

Jason Malenko is the best. He's a very wonderful person to both work for and to collaborate with, as he always wants to see you be the best you can be and is willing to do whatever it takes to help you get there. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Riipen was amazing! I got to learn more and explore about what I am passionate for while getting paid.
