BSD IoT Hub Marketing and Consumer Research
The IoT hub is a tool used to control IoT gateways developed by BSD, which are used in a variety of internet of things applications for our customers across various industries. This includes controlling UV lights, measuring sensors, and more. This project will be focused on market research, insights, and branding around the platform. Students will work with the marketing director, CEO, and lead artist at Bit Space Development to help bring this product to market. Areas of focus will be: Market analysis Branding Social Media Customer Retention This tool was developed out of a need for it during the pandemic and this project will be a key part of its commercialization efforts of it moving forward.
ASP .NET / React Web Platform Development (IoT Dashboard)
We want to develop a new version of our our IoT command, and control dashboard developed using ASP .NET and React. Students would work alongside our web team to build a fresh new tool for managing our Raspberry Pi-powered gateway devices. This project would expose students to: - C# - React - Swagger APIs - Git and more
Generative Model of High Quality 3D Textured Shapes Learned from Images
BSD is looking for researchers to assist with the development and deployment of a GET3D model pipeline using the Nvidia stack. This project will require students to work alongside our machine learning team to implement an MLOps pipeline to take images and run them through training infrastructure to generate AI-created 3D models. The end goal will be a simple web interface to upload photos and a way to retrieve the models from the system. This project is purely an experiment for testing infrastructure and will not be a commercial product at the end of the project.
ASP .NET / React Web Platform Development (VRSafety)
We are looking to improve and expand our web XR building tool developed using ASP .NET and React. Students would work alongside our web team to build new features and help expand into exciting unique aspects of web VR development and 360 photos and video management. This project would expose students to: - C# - React - Swagger APIs - Git and more
XR Serious Games Development
Bit Space Development Ltd. is an interactive digital media studio that specializes in creating innovative learning experiences for the classroom and workplace. We work with educators and industry professionals from around the world to develop effective solutions for education and training using cutting edge digital media technologies. This project will be focused around the development of a VR game that will act as a demonstration of tool safety, usage, and what can be simulated in XR using PC VR and stand alone VR devices. This project will be an experiment in using Houdini and Unreal to develop dynamic and vivid levels for learning.

Machine Learning Data Centre Bench-marking
BSD and its partners are looking to improve, deploy, and validate containers in our data centres to evaluate and benchmark training performance and the systems in place to develop custom models. This project will involve: Development and validation of API endpoints to trigger activities from external applications Monitoring and benchmarking of the model training process Validation of models being produced by the system Candidates on this project will work closely with our team of developers to both gain valuable experience working with high-end data centre hardware as well as working with cutting-edge applications that will make a huge impact on the overall infrastructure being developed for our products. Candidates should have a computer science or data science background and experience with Linux, Nvidia hardware, and machine learning / AI technology is a huge asset.
Edge Based Computer Vision Inference Demo Development
BSD is looking for python developers and machine learning students to assist with the development of a demonstration of our computer vision hardware product for edge-basedEdge-based inference. This team will be focused on applying models to custom business logic determined by the project group and running them on hardware managed by our device management platform. This project will involve: Edge based inference using computer vision for object detection and classification. Integration with API endpoints from our dashboard tooling Development and testing of an end to end demonstration which can be run on Nvidia based hardware in our facility Candidates should have experience with python programming, computer vision, AI, or Linux based operating systems. Above all else we value team members who are willing to learn and grow with us.

VRSafety Consumer Research Group 2
VRSafety is a VR publishing tool designed to create training focused on hazard identification and job site awareness. We initially developed the framework back in 2016 and it has since expanded to become a self-serve SaaS tool. This project will be focused on market research, insights, and branding around the platform. Students will work with the marketing director, CEO, and lead artist at Bit Space Development to help bring this product to market. Areas of focus will be: Market analysis Branding Social Media Customer Retention This is a high impact time to be working with the VRSafety team at Bit Space Development because we're already getting traction with customers and we will be looking to grow this team in the near future.
Data Analysis
Link to Learn is a cadaveric skills lab in Denver, Colorado that provides advanced medical training to our nation's medical first responders. The team at Link to Learn, in partnership with Bit Space Development and Regis University is creating a cadaveric database using the Microsoft Azure Kinect and other technologies. Students will work alongside a seasoned and highly regarded software development studio in the pursuit of business goals. The technology stack we are developing includes: Volumetric Scanning Tool Automated Point Cloud Labeling and Reconstruction Machine Learning Algorithms Database Architecture AWS and Azure Cloud Integration Object Recognition ( the recognition of human cadavers using computer vision)
Computer Vision R&D
BSD is working towards the creation of an Nvidia-based computer vision solution that can be deployed and trained for business-specific problems. This tool is managed through our device management dashboard and we are looking to solve several problems: Provide the models for evaluation via our dashboard Collect the results of what the device is seeing and store it in our database Graph and evaluate what the device is seeing Train models which can be provided to the devices and distributed by our central dashboard This project will heavily focus on the training of new models, provisioning of Nvidia hardware, and working alongside our product team to help craft a cutting-edge computing platform for distributed computer vision.
