My name is Dona Baker and I am a singer songwriter who produces music under the performance name Marley Boyd in an incorporated business 1820374 Alberta Ltd. My Soundcloud account with samples of my music is at: https://soundcloud.com/dona-baker-333825320 I am looking to have a website built on Wordpress or an equivalent platform (no preference). Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Create a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our owner's review. Build a fully-functioning website, with my assistance in providing content and copy. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site. Note: I own the URL's for both my performance name, Marley Boyd and my real name Dona Baker. The Project Scope will entail: Creating visuals for an audience that favours jazz & blues music Website has a Landing page, an About the Artist page, Song Recordings page, and a Contact page I plan to change / add content to the page on a monthly basis. I do not have time to learn the technical skills to update the website, but have access to a developer who works in WordPress. I like darker hues for portraying blues music. Also like that the About, Songs, Recordings etc. links are obviously placed. I like the third website as the singer has done a good job of promoting her songs and her fan club products in a way that is informative and interactive. Budget for the project $3,500 - can expand this if needed after the initial consultation.
