Valid Dreams Foundation is a excellent organization with a sophisticated and forward thinking structure, professional leadership, and the ability to affect a vast number of individuals. The potential for this organization is immeasurable and I am so pleased that I could be a part of the future growth through grant writing as my project through Riipen.

During my involvement with the Valid Dreams Foundation project through Riipen Level Up, I gained significant experience and communication skills relevant to my field. I enhanced my technical writing, research, and teamwork capabilities, which are vital for my future career and continuing education as a communications major at Thompson Rivers University. Ultimately, my experience with the Valid Dreams Foundation project proved invaluable, providing me with refined writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Valid Dreams Foundation and their crew have been very understanding and is very helpful in regards to being informative about what they look forward to with finding new ideas to implement within their company. It is amazing that they gave my group members and I the chance to be apart of their journey to discuss our Project Management plan and what they needed to expand. However, the only thing I feel that would need improvement on is preferably being able to contact your company via email due to the different time zones and availability. Otherwise, everything that my group members and I experienced, it was great!

I had the pleasure of working with Valid Dreams Foundation on the project "Financial Business Plan." My program's collaboration focused on defining strategic compensation management policies. Throughout the project, the team at Valid Dreams Foundation was incredibly helpful and supportive. We greatly appreciate the unique opportunity to develop volunteer-based compensation policies, which was both challenging and rewarding. Their guidance and collaboration were instrumental in the success of this project. Overall, the experience was highly positive, and I am grateful for the chance to work with such a dedicated and innovative organization. I look forward to working together on potential future projects.

Valid Dreams Foundation is a new, evolving non-profit tackling social justice issues in British Columbia. Sally, the Executive Director, is open to feedback and input. Students have full creative license to create content, which is exciting, but requires the student to regularly scale expectations. Weekly meetings are necessary as priorities shift fluidly in the non-profit sector: due to new opportunities occurring with short timelines.
