Hi there my name is Braeden Hawthornthwaite! I am currently finishing my Marketing Major (BBA) at Vancouver Island University! I have always been passionate about Marketing all my life and have a very high drive to get things done. My hobbies consist of making Shopify stores and creating Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok pages with custom content to support my store. Through University and my personal experience, I have lots of knowledge with Marketing, and understand what it takes to engage and acquire new customers organically or through advertising. Additionally, I am capable of making custom content, and have knowledge of UI/UX to create great business flow. Furthermore, I am a hard worker and love to see the great reactions of my completed projects!

Digital Content Creation - TikTok Reels - Winter 2023

Number of individual students required: 6-8 students OR Number of students required to work in teams: 6 teams of 1 student or 3 teams of 2 -3 students OBJECTIVE: As a part of our social media marketing initiatives with TikTok and Reels (Instagram), we’re looking for students to take on video-creating, shooting and editing for this initiative. The aim is to complete around 10-20 quality and polished videos with the guidance of our project lead for our platforms. FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES: At least 5 videos per student or 10 videos per team that have gone through video editing and approved TO SUCCEED AT THIS PROJECT, THE STUDENT WOULD NEED: An ability to pick up on new technology quickly (growth mindset) Strongly preferred if you have a previous experience or training with video shooting; but happy to train the right candidate. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.
