Hello! I'm Tam Nguyen, a dedicated and passionate Post-Diploma Computer Science student at the University of Lethbridge, Calgary Campus. With a blend of technical expertise and a creative mindset, I specialize in Java, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, and MariaDB. My journey in tech began with an Information Technology Diploma, Major in Software Development from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, where I graduated with Honours, showcasing my commitment to excellence in software development.

Technical Proficiency: My core strengths lie in programming languages like Java and JavaScript, and database management with SQL and PL/SQL. I'm also skilled in using MariaDB, ensuring robust and efficient data handling.
UI/UX Design: With proficiency in Adobe XD and Figma, I have a keen eye for designing user-centric interfaces. This skill was further honed during my time as a UI/UX developer intern at Riipen - Nisarga Bioproducts, where I developed engaging and intuitive design mock-ups for e-commerce websites.
Web Development: HTML5, CSS, React, Express.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, and Prisma form the foundation of my web development skills, enabling me to create responsive and dynamic web applications.

UI UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for a website. We would like a group of students to design a prototype mobile application for our current web based product. This will involve: Conduct background research of existing web application for the product. Identify key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learn and use various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as it is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android.
Nisarga BioProducts Website Design Project
The goal of this project is to design a website design for Nisarga BioProducts that is optimized for increased traffic and modern design. The website should reflect the company's mission and values of being 100% natural, sustainable, and impactful. The website should also be user friendly and easy to navigate.
Nisarga BioProducts Sustainable Social Media Marketing Project
The objective of this project is to leverage the power of social media marketing to promote Nisarga BioProducts and champion the cause of sustainable living. Through engaging Canva posts, the project aims to visually communicate the unique features and benefits of the product, capturing the attention of the target audience. Simultaneously, the focus extends beyond promotion, as the project is committed to educating and inspiring the community on sustainable living practices. By weaving informative content into the social media strategy, the project strives to foster awareness, encouraging environmentally conscious choices and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Website Development
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to update and revamp our existing website to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through common site building tools such as Shopify. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Find different templates. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.
