VRSafety is a VR publishing tool designed to create training focused on hazard identification and job site awareness. We initially developed the framework back in 2016 and it has since expanded to become a self-serve SaaS tool. This project will be focused on market research, insights, and branding around the platform. Students will work with the marketing director, CEO, and lead artist at Bit Space Development to help bring this product to market. Areas of focus will be: Market analysis Branding Social Media Customer Retention This is a high impact time to be working with the VRSafety team at Bit Space Development because we're already getting traction with customers and we will be looking to grow this team in the near future.
Digital Marketing Strategy for Fitness & Wellness Travel / virtual platform
We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We'd like to maximize different channels according to a timeline strategy and what will work best for us. We also are looking for The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How should we promote our company? What social media channels should we utilize? What budget is appropriate for advertising? What content and messaging should we use?

Main Challenges Challenge 1: We need support designing an ‘effective’ app marketing strategy from a solid marketing team for our App Launch November 2021. We need to have the team we work with do some implementation for the Launch with Influencer Marketing, Market Research, App Store Optimization, Social Media posts, some SEO, and also utilize our staff to help with this implementation for the launch. We are looking to achieve a significant amount of downloads for that week and need to make sure we are set up for success. Challenge 2: Getting significant app downloads as users install the app that appears in search results and have an optimized the App Store listing for better discoverability in app store, get user reviews from app and obtain influencers and app reviewers to promote our app. Challenge 3: Getting high retention rates is difficult without testing, market research, marketing strategy, to the right users and changing the app UX. Possible solution is to a) Retarget users b) Provide Value c) Integrate App with Social Channels d) Analyze metrics Challenge 4: Marketing Budget, as we are a startup with limit funding for marketing so a focus on partnerships and strategic marketing using human resources will be a primary focus like SEO, Social Media, Blogging, etc. Virtual Internship Opportunity: Marketing Details Moodie is a technology-based private sector company able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 5 marketing students. Marketing Plan We want to keep these areas in mind for the plan: Market Research : The student will create a user case study and conduct a meta-analysis of comparable products to facilitate a better understanding of the target market and to ensure optimal positioning/pricing alignment for our target sector/customer. The student will investigate other options to increase conversion rates and boost our sales team's performance. Public Relations : The student will help us to effectively communicate our brand's story, vision and mission to a broader audience. SEO: The student will research and generate the optimal keywords and placement for a focused SEO effort to reveal which website pages get the most traffic from the identified target strategy. Influencer Recruitment : Highlight influencers in the community and encourage them to be a part of the Moodie story. Social Marketing Strategy: It has been shown that digital and social media marketing can have a positive effect on a company’s brand. We want to create solid Business Objectives, Social Media Goals, and Metrics with the following in mind: Grow the brand Turn customers into advocates Drive leads and sales & conversions Build engaged communities Advertise our product and service to target audiences Metrics & Analytics Create an audit template Content calendar Other duties may include: Email marketing Measure campaign performance of these campaigns using tools such as Hubspot and spreadsheets Content development We plan to communicate with our virtual Intrapreneur(s) using these communication tools: Riipen messaging, Slack, @feelingmoodie.com, email and Google Meet. Athlete Influencer Marketing Internship
We’re looking for a student to help us develop a network of influencers that can help with our brand recognition and marketing strategies. The role of 80 hours will consist of focusing and outreaching to social media influencers on Instagram that are relevant to football to market and sell our products. We would like students to craft a pitch of why these influencers should work with us to sell and market our products, then pitch it to athletes, coaches, social media influencers etc., with the aim to get coverage. Example: Offer an athlete our product for free for posting on their social media account or offer a small amount of compensation per post. Students can also use Highlight Exposure to find connections to football players to promote and sell our products. You will be asked to keep a google spreadsheet of all influencers you’ve reached out to/who we should reach out to for record keeping purposes, and cases where they may follow up after your project ends.

Number of individual students required: 4 Short Desc: As part of LEVEL UP: Multidisciplinary Projects , we will like 4 students to help create 16 blogs (4 blogs /student) . The total max hours will be 80 hrs per student, paid by LEVEL UP: Multidisciplinary Projects program. Detailed Desc: We are looking for 4 students to help us write 4 blogs/students on topics we are going to give you. Each student will be assigned 4 blogs to write. The processes will require the student to: research the blog topic, find the right keywords for SEO purposes. We will teach you how to do that. Find the right images for the blog topic. Write the SEO optimized (we will teach) blogs that is 1300 words. Then, we will test for plagiarism Upload it to our website.
Marketing Strategy Plan for an entertaining mental health product
We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our target market: teenagers and youth who played casual games . We’d like to know how we can maximize the use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company? What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using? What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals? How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition? What Go-to-market strategy should we consider?
