Marketing Event - Amazing Race for Kids

Positions available: Students can take part in a virtual internship opportunity for 2 teams of 3-4 students. Marketing/Social Media Please become familiar with Owen Sound Shriners, Camp Presquile, Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce & Rotary Home. Please review our Website (new) to update the content, graphic design, page layout, and user interface with our target market. Assist with a social media (re)launch (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) to promote the Rotary Home. Assist and contribute to writing compelling stories, articles, email newsletters, and other content pieces to reach our target donors, families & potential employees Work with Promotions Coordinator to set up appropriate data tracking, evaluation, and reporting metrics. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Social Media platforms and development for our organization, including written videos, social media, and other collateral that we can use to improve our current awareness.

Event Planning - Amazing Race Bruce Grey (For Kids)

Positions available: 4 The start date is flexible, respecting the Student's busy lives. Our Amazing Race For Kids can offer a virtual internship opportunity for several teams if possible. The primary focus for the students will be: Are you interested in helping us plan a signature event? We want you! We are taking our current event and making it bigger & better! We need students who will help create and organize the Amazing Race event that will help us raise funds and awareness for the Multiple Kid charities. Students can assist with our event creation, promotion, budgeting, venue challenge selection, food and beverage, and sponsorship. We will provide students with a practical understanding of the guidelines and procedures used in planning, executing, and managing events. A creative mind will help design the in-house challenges needed to carry out our event. It will include the program's role and event objectives and concepts to assist in planning various types of virtual events.

Beach Delivery App Project - Amazing Race Bruce Grey

One team for sure, but certainly more if available The primary focus for our students will be: We need help creating our Sauble Beach Eats App content and bringing it into the year 2025/2026. The delivery season starts May 24, 2025 - October 2025 if possible We also need students to help us design the component and its website. Social Justice Assessment

We are looking for a Social Justice Assessor who will work with our team to advance equity and justice within our organization. The intern will have the opportunity to assess our company which covers our website, products, and services, as well as work on initiatives to create positive change for Magnify Access. Our intention is to ensure our company stands against the following social justice issues: Racism and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and other identity factors Income inequality and lack of access to economic opportunity Inadequate access to education, healthcare, and other necessities The disproportionate impact of environmental harm on marginalized communities Gender inequality and discrimination against women and non-binary individuals Discrimination and mistreatment of people with disabilities. The end result of your internship would be to produce clear guidelines/direction on how to ensure our company has addressed issues related to social justice internally and externally, captured in a document the company can use to remediate these issues.

We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. BEBC is a black-led organization, representing Black businesses in Canada. We are providing a unified platform for advocating and supporting Black entrepreneurs and businesses in Canada. In addition to advocacy, we help facilitate access to financing (Federal, Provincial, and Local) and provide advisory and mentorship services to our members. Our goal is to help Black businesses grow, scale up and become sustainable. Ultimately, you will be working on our youth program Initiative for our organization, including helping us organize the program, creating content for social media, and hosting town hall meetings. Curriculum Researcher for Sankofa Bridge Program

The main objective of this project is to enhance student learning through a program called Sankofa Bridge Program at Downsview Secondary School. The project aims to address the needs of students by providing additional support and reinforcement of class materials, ultimately contributing to increased academic success. The students involved in this project are expected to achieve a deeper understanding of the class material and show improvement in their academic performance. Requirements for Participants: Must be a Master’s or PhD student enrolled in a teaching school in Ontario. Must be able to commute to Downsview Secondary School. Must complete a vulnerable sector check to ensure the safety of the students involved. Aspiration to become a high school teacher or professor.
