Virtual Internship Opportunity: Computer Science

Positions available: Two teams of three students Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 2 computer science students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. messaging); creating a fully-functioning application. Software Architecture Development - Architecting the software of a new product; improving the architecture of an existing system; porting an architecture of one system into another . Application Programming Interfaces - Redesigning an existing API to simplify it; changing API technologies; designing a new API; creating or updating public-facing documentation. Software Lifecycle Analysis - Improving our existing software development lifecycle methodologies; determining if we should use a waterfall approach or an agile approach; researching tools for continuous delivery or integration. Open Source Software Management - Researching potential open source tools for our organization’s use; contributing to open source projects through bug fixing or feature implementation. Other duties the student may complete could include : (indicate other duties as exemplified below) Front-end development work to do a complete redesign of our UI Software vendor research and evaluation Assisting with other process improvement projects Unit and integration testing We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Slack and email

Marketing Intern

Positions available: 3 (working as a team) We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement. Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following: Content Calendar Curation: timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Social Media Management: overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date Content Development SEO Other marketing-related tasks
