Green Events Coordination for Youth, BIPOC and Newcomers
The Green Career Centre’s mission is to prepare youth, BIPOC and newcomers for green careers. In order to secure the future we need for a just, inclusive and prosperous future we have to work directly with underserved communities that are impacted by the climate crisis. With a climate justice lens and through ongoing consultations and focus groups, the Green Career Centre bridges the disconnect between these underserved communities and green careers in sustainability. We offer resources, events, and a strong network of support in order to integrate underserved communities into the green labour market in what is currently Canada.
Digital Marketing Student
We’re looking for a student to help us source, curate, develop, and post the content implementing strategies to increase awareness and nurture engagement. The goal of this content is to grow the Jobby community.
Applied Business Analytics
Project description : We are building up a corporate data room. The project is to build and manage various tools using applied business analytics including financial projection tools, accounting data management, technical emission modelling, and website development. Data Description: NDA will be signed, and emission data will be shared. the length of the project will be starting from 80 hours with a high potential extension to 240 hours per student.
Website Development
We would like a new website for our organization. We would like to work with students to develop a new website for us. Students should be prepared to: Conduct a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. {Shopify} Create a design proposal including wireframes or low-fidelity mockups for our company's review. Build a fully-functioning website, with our assistance in providing content and copy. Provide training on updating and maintaining the site. Requires some coding/programming to achieve ultimate goal
Graphic Design
Our company, Ecomtent, is on the cutting edge of AI. One of our key offerings to our ecommerce sellers customers is enabling them to quickly generate infographics with AI. Think Canva, but creating this via a ChatGPT prompt and a click. We would like students to help build seasonal templates for customers (e.g. Christmas, Halloween etc themed) which our tech team can then automate for customer use. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching the good graphic designs for ecommerce sellers Create infographics in our software (similar to canva) for automation
Managing Expectations Webinar for BoardSpace
The main goal of this project is to create a webinar for BoardSpace's target customers (condo board directors, owners & condo managers). The webinar should be tentatively titled "Managing Expectations" and should cover topics such as understanding the roles and responsibilities of board members, setting realistic expectations, and managing conflicts of interest.
Analyzing Industry Data
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We believe we know a lot about our consumers and target consumer base, but we need to look beyond the buyer and examine our industry. We would like to collaborate with students to identify key market trends and assist in our go-forward plans. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our products, target market, and industry. Analyzing growth trends, stagnation patterns and decline analytics. Identifying areas of promising innovation and areas that are slowing down. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending strategies to best position our company.
Organizational Operations Internship - March 2024
This project, with the Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC), will begin on following a detailed kick-off meeting and orientation. The project focuses on enhancing the operational aspects of AIC, a non-profit organization engaged in research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building. The role of the Organizational Operations Intern will involve delving into the operational intricacies of the Institute, helping to optimize processes and improve efficiency. During the position, interns will gain hands-on experience in operational management, process optimization, and the implementation of effective organizational strategies. This role is critical in supporting the AIC's mission of conducting impactful research and providing academic mentorship. Valemount Phase 2 Winter 2024
Phase 1 November 2023 - January 2024 || Phase 2 February 2024 - March 2024 The goal of this project is to continue phase 2 of three work streams for Valemount Consulting including updating the branding, look and feel across Digital platforms and designing two planned products: 1) updating and refining Valemount website, LinkedIn and Teams branded look and feel and standardizing and enhancing across platforms; 2) an executive coach offering, including pricing and market testing, onboarding of senior executives; and 3) designing a fractional C-Suite with a focus on Chief Compliance Officers, Digital Marketing Executives, CISO, and Treasury.
Email Marketing Campaign
Our company advertises thousands of products online. We hope to revamp our email marketing to attract more customers. We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, email marketing campaign goals and target market. Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails. Researching factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing such as when emails are sent and making recommendations. Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.
