Dr Hebah AL Ubeed holds a PhD degree in food science, Master’s and bachelor’s degree in biology. She specialises in plant-related research for natural therapeutic plant and medicinal herbs applications. As a biologist and food technologist, she undertakes fundamental and applied research in plants and medicinal herbs.

Her current research aims to develop oral health formula infused with cannabis honey and alternative solution to alcohol or fluoride.
Research interest: cultivation and propagation using indoor technology, postharvest processing including drying and extraction active phytochemicals, applied science, preserving and processing food, biochemistry, phytochemicals and antioxidants, microbiology and antimicrobial agents, synergistic mechanisms.
