Bio

I am a third-year computer science student at the University of Alberta with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. Before transitioning to computer science, I worked in the oil and gas industry, where I held a leadership role, gaining valuable experience in decision-making, teamwork, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.

I am highly motivated and eager to take on new challenges, always looking for opportunities to learn and grow. I have experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies, including Python, Rust, C/C++, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. Additionally, I have built an Android app using Java and have some experience with C# from developing my Lunar Lander reinforcement learning environment.

I am particularly interested in systems programming, security, and AI but enjoy all aspects of computer science and I just want to learn, and so am ready to dive into anything. I enjoy solving challenging problems and building solutions that have a meaningful impact. I believe my background allows me to bring a unique perspective to technology, combining practical leadership skills with a deep curiosity for everything computers.
