Hi there,
My name is Jovanpreet Mann, and I’m a third-year Finance student at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University, with a strong academic foundation in financial modelling, economics, and accounting principals. I currently serve as an Investment Analyst for the Ted Rogers Investment Council, where I have conducted equity research in the Financials and Healthcare sectors, pitching Affirm and Lantheus Holdings as a BUY supported by Investment Theses, Comparable Company/Industry Analysis and DCF modelling and contribute to managing a $1,000,000 long-only mock fund. Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience at Ofori, where I led strategic pricing initiatives that reduced product costs by up to 46%, and at Honda Canada, where I developed leadership and operational efficiency managing high-volume client interactions. I’m also the President and Treasurer of the TMU Punjabi Association, where I oversee accounting and financial operations and secured record-breaking funding to support 12+ events in the past academic year. I’ve placed in several case competitions including 1st in the RSM Alteryx Masterclass and BMO-TRSM Case Competition amongst many other rankings and hold certifications in Alteryx, Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Platforms, Word and the Microsoft Office Suite. I’m passionate about equity research, strategic problem-solving, driving results through analytical thinking and collaboration and I continuously seek opportunities to apply my skills in a professional setting.
