About Us Luta app is a digital tool that Canadians can download for free from Apple and Android App stores. The App provides convenient and easy to access information and tips to live a sustainable lifestyle. With a quick questionnaire, the users can understand their own unique environmental footprint. Users are also provided relevant tips on how to make changes in their lifestyle to reduce that footprint and get rewarded. Users of the app can also answer a few questions about their HVAC unit or car, and get an instant report that provides them with an estimate of potential reduction of emissions and costs. The users can also track their daily environmental or greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint from local commutes and compete against other users and the Luta community’s benchmark. Luta’s Community Hub is dedicated exclusively to Sustainability and the users can learn from others and inspire others with valuable information on both small and big ideas to live sustainably. The Project Luta App is also being enhanced as a white-label employee engagement tool for various clients including some of the largest employers in Canada. The app will have new and customized features as per the requirements of such clients. Project Timeline – 1st Feb 2022 – 31st March 2022 The official launch of the enhanced app – 22nd April 2022 What we are looking for: We are looking for smart, highly motivated and technically inclined students to support us in the whole life-cycle of app development – Requirement Gatherings, Research, Wireframing, UI/UX, App Development, Q/A Testing and Deployment. The students will work with the Project Manager to assist him in the day-to-day tasks and attend the weekly and ad-hoc meetings with the broader team and client. Requirements: Ability to work under tight deadlines Well organized and punctual Ability to work with diverse teams having competing priorities Knowledge of project management tools, such as Asana and Slack Prior experience or good knowledge of full-lifecycle app development Final year Graduate or Post-Graduate students with excellent academic records Knowledge of the following minimum technology stack: 1.
