About Us Luta (www.lutaapp.com) is a digital tool to help Canadians in living a more sustainable lifestyle. The app can be downloaded for free from Apple and Android App stores. The app can be used by large Canadian Corporations to engage their employees and/or customers and not-for-profit educational institutions for engaging students, the faculty and staff. We are looking for students to help us with the following business goals: Generate ideas for further improvements of our existing app Luta. Research and well thought out ideas to develop engaging features of use to post-secondary students.

Business Partnerships Development (copy)

Positions available: two teams of three students Luta app is a new tool for Canadians in the battle against climate change. Luta app provides a simple data-driven way to measure the impact of energy usage in your home and in your vehicle. It then helps you take an appropriate action to mitigate your GHG emissions and costs. Luta measures the energy use and greenhouse gas emissions from furnaces, AC units and vehicles. Users of the app can answer a few questions about their HVAC unit or car, then get an instant report that provides them with an estimate of potential reduction of emissions and costs. The user can be also connected to a local home professional for a free consultation, or book a test drive at a local dealer through the app. Luta will also provide deals and promotions on eco-friendly products, such as; smart thermostats, energy-efficient TVs, electric scooters etc. The organization is doing rapid expansion of its partnership base across Canada and is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 2 sales and marketing students. The primary focus of the student will be: Business Partnerships Development Identify potential partners in the target market (HVAC, automotive and green sector) and complete appropriate research on the prospective partner's business Develop relationships with prospective partners, while maintaining existing partner relationships Partner with the business development team to create winning proposals for current and prospective partners Negotiate partnership terms with partners and communicate terms to stakeholders Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news Our goal at the end of this experience is: To significantly grow our partnership in the target markets We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Riipen messaging, email, Zoom calls Primary contact : Gaurav Aggarwal - Business Development Manager Secondary contact: Atul Mahajan - CEO
