Digital Content Creation
Positions available: 2 We would like students to help us with creating content for our website. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of deliverables and understanding of our brand identity expectations. We have recently redesigned our website ( http://centaurproducts.com/ ) are in need of assistance for the writing, editing and populating of content (using Wordpress CMS) including blog articles (for both website and social media). To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write, prepare and upload content for website as directed consisting mainly of: Product descriptions and images (image editing skills an asset but not mandatory): Key categories for content and population: Services and Maintenance Pages Volleyball and Badminton Equipment Spectator Seating Artificial Turf & Infill Options Scoreboards and Video Displays Customer case studies Blog/News Articles If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for 2 students for a total of 160 hours. The ideal student/s would have excellent writing and image editing skills as well as basic knowledge of SEO principles. Experience or understanding of Wordpress CMS would be a benefit but not required. If populating content through Wordpress is not feasible than creating and compiling content for population also would be satisfactory.
Marketing Event - Amazing Race for Kids
Positions available: Students can take part in a virtual internship opportunity for 2 teams of 3-4 students. Marketing/Social Media Please become familiar with Owen Sound Shriners, Camp Presquile, Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce & Rotary Home. Please review our Website (new) to update the content, graphic design, page layout, and user interface with our target market. Assist with a social media (re)launch (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) to promote the Rotary Home. Assist and contribute to writing compelling stories, articles, email newsletters, and other content pieces to reach our target donors, families & potential employees Work with Promotions Coordinator to set up appropriate data tracking, evaluation, and reporting metrics. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Social Media platforms and development for our organization, including written videos, social media, and other collateral that we can use to improve our current awareness.
Digital Content Creation
Our project is open to individual students or groups. Positions available: 4 individuals FreshFind is an e-commerce ecosystem that connects consumers with their local producers and suppliers of fresh food and other artisanal products. We work with individuals and small businesses to help get their unique, high quality products more known by consumers. Our vision is to make fresh, unique and wholesome local products more available and accessible. We would like to work with students in helping us create digital content that showcases our mission and progress. We are looking for students who can: Help craft our digital content strategy (ie. What kind of content will resonate with our users and community? Which channels make sense?) Create/curate written & visual content (Blog articles & social media posts) You may be a good fit if you: Value community and supporting local Enjoy thinking about how to make things better Like freedom and creativity in your work Care about health, wellness and the environment What you will get: Experience working with a real-life product/startup References for other engagements you decide to take on Equity options as bonus This project is expected to be completed within an 80 hour work period.

Positions available: up to 10 students in teams or as individuals Wacky Willys is looking for ambitious creative Social Media Marketing champion/s to create a Social Media Marketing Strategy and then roll that into a step-by-step implementation action plan. The goal is to enable us to build and maintain a strong digital footprint presence for our new commercial brand and breathe new life into our legacy products. Our ideal candidate/s are imaginative innovative marketing students who are keen to engage with an exciting emerging industry and market. For this position, it’s essential to be cool with the Cannabis/Hemp Culture and be up-to-date with new technologies, apps and marketing trends. We currently and badly use; WordPress, Klayvio, Tido, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. That’s why we need you! If you are keen to help us with a trail-blazing social media strategic implementation plan for the legalized Cannabis and Hemp Extraction Industry, and are driven by the desire to set up an original, funky cannabis friendly social marketing strategic action plan, we would be excited to have you join our Wacky Team.
