Web Page Evaluation
Our current website is outdated and requires updating. We would like to collaborate with students to evaluate our web pages and recommend areas for improvement. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with the current structure of our website and our company’s products, target market, mission and vision statements. Conducting background research on factors that affect the quality of websites. Developing a set of criteria to evaluate our web pages and justifying the importance of each criterion. Evaluating our web pages based on the established criteria. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending areas for improvement on our website. Assisting in implementing changes to web pages.
Financial Business Plan
We are excited to be expanding The Festival Voice! While we have been an established company for a while, we would like to begin the process of turning our blog from just a blog to one that creates revenue. We would need students to research similar mediums to come up with ideas for our company to make money in the area of blogging. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Learning about our business strategy from various employees to become familiar with our goals, mission, and products. Creating forecasts using Excel (or another financial software) for sales in the first year of operation as well as an income projection (conservative and aggressive). Working with our team to develop an expense budget. Conducting a break-even analysis timeline using financial projections. Reporting on projected assets and liabilities. Including visual comparisons such as graphs and charts to show the differences between the conservative and aggressive income projection.
Email Marketing Campaign
We hope to create email marketing to attract more traffic. We would like to work with students to design a new email marketing campaign for our company. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company’s products, email marketing campaign goals and target market. Identifying types of emails and content that our company should send out such as welcome emails, newsletters, and re-engagement emails. Researching factors affecting the effectiveness of email marketing such as when emails are sent and making recommendations. Identifying metrics to monitor throughout the campaign. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Identifying ways to personalize emails for customers based on market segmentation.
Blogging
Our company is already familiar with blogging. We would like to collaborate with students to create blog posts that drive more traffic to our website. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our goals, target market, products and services. Recommending topics for our blog posts. Drafting blog posts relevant to our business. Revising blog posts based on feedback. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Recommending ways to market our blog.

This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Designing a survey questionnaire to gather information from festival goers. - Collecting and analyzing survey responses to identify common themes and preferences. - Creating a report summarizing the survey findings and presenting the favorite aspects of festivals as identified by the survey.
