Incorporating user actions, emotions, goals, and pain points in the customer journey map. Proposing solutions to minimize pain points while meeting business goals. Product Design & Prototype
To expand our product offering w, we need insights into how we can redesign existing popular beauty products and what products have the most sales potential. We are interested in gaining insights on popular beauty products that could be marketed to BIPOC consumers as safe and made with thir needs in mind. We would also like a prototype of a single product to be included in our new line.

Our organization wants to further our efforts to increase awareness about a particular health topic. We would like to work with students to develop a campaign that successfully raises awareness and changes behaviour around this health topic in a certain population. In collaboration with key contacts at our organization, students will design and carry out a campaign strategy around this health topic. Identify groups which this campaign will target. (BIPOC) Identify ideal outcomes and KPIs. Include the latest and most accurate data and information on colorism within the black community, skin bleaching or the effects of chemical relaxers. Design leaflets, posters, videos, and/or brochures.
Developing an Up-Sell Product
We want you to help us develop a new product that will appeal to our target customer, which we can offer as an up-sell to our existing product(s). To accomplish this, we believe you should focus on: Conducting research to understand purchase decisions and needs for potential customers. Defining customer segments that we could target. Brainstorming potential product ideas. (1 for each focus topic) Developing marketing messaging and sales strategy for the new product. We hope this new product will increase revenue and grow our customer lifetime value.

Financial Risk Analysis
As a growing company, we are interested in understanding the state of the market we are in, and our organization’s level of risk. In this project, students will assess our company’s risk by building a financial risk model to determine our best course of action. Students will perform a sensitivity analysis to help us eliminate some of the uncertainties we face and determine the reliability of risk estimates. This may involve: Using mathematical and statistical tools to analyze private and public data. Evaluating metrics associated with the risk level of our company such as volatility, correlations for returns, forward/futures contracts, cash flows, variance, and economic states. Building a financial risk model including sensitivity analysis to determine the reliability of the model’s findings.
