At the core, I have an obsession with human potential, authentic connections and social change.
I grew up in the north of Denmark, in a family full of entrepreneurs. I was the local blacksmith’s "boy". It was the 70s and the women around me were all in the process of leaving their stay-at-home mom roles. I was deeply aware of my mother and her friends’ struggles to do it all, and the disconnect it had on us children. I found connection and meaning by reading anything about systems change, community health and women's history, trying to find a lifeline to meaning and answers to being a mom, a business owner and making a change without losing myself and burning out.
Our project mission is to bring back, in a new way, a sense of connection, belonging and sustainable living on all levels. By doing so, we hope to do our part in tackling financial inequality, loneliness, health, housing, and the environmental crisis.

Lykkå Village • Cyber Security
We are a Montreal-based community-building & co-living platform with features and a culture that facilitate and deepen in-person safe connections for families, especially single parents and newcomers feeling burned out and alone, where they can give and receive trusted and reliable family-like support, fostering a real sense of belonging . . . one neighbourhood at a time. We are a social enterprise, both online and in-person, in collaboration with Concordia University's D3 Innovation Hub. We wish to facilitate healthy, resilient, sustainable living between families and take the guesswork out of community building. We presently have a pilot of 300 families in a closed Facebook group and are now ready to transition off of that platform onto our own online community and App that we aim to soft launch an MVP imminently. We are a small team for the moment, yet with every team we work with, we will have regular check-ins with goal setting and sprints to keep us all motivated and moving forward. For us creating an inclusive and healthy working community where we can all show up as our full selves and feel supported is a big part of our business model. The students will have the support of our Project Manager who is responsible for scrums, questions and resource material, and our Lead Senior Developer who overlooks and reviews all code before being pushed into our main. We have a set of protocols that the students will follow.

We have clearly defined bite-sized elements to the MVP that we need to still develop, hence this posting.
