Charity Partnerships to Promote Wellness Education We are looking for motivated students, educators and institutions to help Anahana Wellness partner with established Charities in their country or region. The company has a wide range of educational material in numerous formats that would be very helpful in helping educate the constituents of various charities for matters related to areas such as general wellness, and mental health. Below is an example if a potential outreach for Cancer Charities and how mindfulness and meditation can be a tremendous benefit. Materials can be custom tailored to the needs of the charity, and would be available for a wide range of topics such as respiratory, children and family issues, or even sporting and professional focused groups. Much more detail will be provided to successful participants. How can Mediation and Mindfulness Help Cancer Patients, Cancer Professionals, and Their Families? Cancer is terrible disease that not only takes millions of lives a year, and afflicts many millions more it takes it also takes an incalculable toll beyond those with the disease. The families, friends, and colleagues of those affected as well as the many millions of professionals and care givers trying to help the inflicted bear suffering as well. According to the World Health Organization Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally , and is responsible for an estimated 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Globally , about 1 in 6 deaths is due to cancer . Approximately 70% of deaths from cancer occur in low- and middle-income countries. In recent years research clearly demonstrated Meditation and Mindfulness practice can have positive outcomes in variety of situations to positively support the population being discussed. That having been said resources and education need to be provided in different contexts for different users in a manner that is accessible and provide the highest probability of achieving desirable results. For example the approach taken to assist an Oncologist that bares the burden of working with many tragic cases on a daily bases will differ significantly form that of helping the family of a breast cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy. Time frames are not only important to consider, but multiple other factors such as income, access to technology, age, relationship to the situation, current wellness practices, mental health and numerous other variables. Project Goals: Identify charities, non-profits, and corporations to potentially partner with on this initiative Propose or produce educational and marketing materials Consider how to assist in low income communities that lack support **** The Anahana Wellness Team will be able to provide additional context and resources on the above if we proceed with the project. Keystone Habit Wellness Mobile App
Keystone Habits App Living a healthy and balanced lifestyle is simple, but it not easy. This is were technology can make a huge difference. Whether using Apple Health, Fitbit or any of the other rapidly expanding commercially available Apps getting health reminders and tracking your progress have never been easier. However, a gap exists for allowing such an App to work with a team a wellness advisors (nutrition, yoga, meditation, injury treatment, etc..) that custom tailor programs to users in addition to whatever machine learning or AI is built into the software. When you additionally consider the expanding opportunities with wearable tech, increased data points, and increased quality of data both, qualitative and quantitative, lead to some exciting client outcomes. The first phase of the project will be developing a basic consumer app (or prototype) that helps individuals track 3 Keystone Habits that are the pillars for health, happiness and longevity. The app will collect data and provide feedback to the user. The protocols for the habits will be provided by Anahana Wellness. Additional details and the scope of the project can be provided when the course is accepted.
