This project was invaluable to my education as a researcher. Not only did I end up with a first-author published article in an academic journal (which will strengthen my application to graduate studies), but I also gained an extensive first-hand experience in the field with a wide variety of skills added to my capabilities. Moving forward, I feel significantly more competent as a scientist and very well prepared to complete my honours thesis and continue my work in my eventual graduate and hopefully doctoral studies. Thank you immensely to my supervisor, Dr. Hamilton as well as Dr. Rodney Schmaltz, the rest of the neuroscience/infrasound team, and the MacEwan Department of Psychology for this opportunity.
