North Coast Ecology Centre Program Evaluation and Pilot Design for Summer 2025
The North Coast Ecology Centre is preparing for an upcoming summer season and aims to enhance its educational offerings. The Centre seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of its current educational programs to ensure they meet the needs of its diverse customer base. This project involves conducting a comprehensive assessment of existing programs, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. Additionally, the project requires researching successful educational programs from similar organizations to gather insights and best practices. The ultimate goal is to design innovative pilot programs tailored for the 2025 season that align with the Centre's mission and audience expectations. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge in program evaluation, research methodologies, and educational design. - Assess the success of current educational programs. - Research successful educational programs from similar organizations. - Design new pilot programs for the 2025 season.

Potential Ecology Centre Visitor Analysis
In this project, we hope to gain insight into future tourism/customer projections by analyzing existing data on who has visited the North Coast Ecology Centre. This will help us enhance and refocus our marketing efforts by being able to identify the needs of our customer base, reach them most effectively, and address any pain points they face. Students will research customer’s behavior through sales trends and demographics, analyze existing data, create predictive models, and provide recommendations for how to move forward and streamline operational hours. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Analyzing market data to define different segments based on customer needs. Choosing appropriate metrics to examine existing Centre data, and analyzing it using data analysis software to identify trends and correlations. Creating predictive models for various outcomes the market (tourism sector) may face. Creating a report with all findings from analysis conducted, including recommendations for next steps.

North Coast Ecology Summer Educational Program Design
The North Coast Ecology Centre is gearing up for another summer. We are looking to assess the success of our existing educational programs, research other successful examples, and design new pilot programs that best fit the needs of the Centre and its customer base for 2025. We would like students to determine the most suitable program structure, content, and staff training strategies required to carry out programming with support from the Board. Based on this information, students can then recommend what educational programming would be most suitable and design a pilot program for 2025. Tasks include: Gathering relevant course design and content, information from interviews, surveys with key stakeholders. Assessing existing programming and recommending the best platform for pilot 2025 programming Reviewing our existing programming and staff training material and making recommendations that align with age specific curriculum and help reach organizational milestones. Assisting in designing the pilot program and revising training material.
