What do we want to do in partnership with you? We want to learn more about our customer base. Who is our ideal customer? What are they buying, and where are they buying it? What else are they doing? Where and how do they spend their time? What are successful outreach strategies that we can communicate to our 'identified target audience'? How can we best implement a loyalty program to encourage brand loyalty? Students are encouraged but not limited to looking within North America and European markets. The project will include students working on the following: We would like this to be partnered with some primary data collection; surveys and research into our present and future consumer to gather insights into buying behaviours and expansion expectations. These should supplement the market recommendations. Students can focus on either or both these sections: Executing market research to develop a comprehensive report of target markets. PESTEL External analysis of new market entry: focusing on location, industry type, and business size Insights and Recommendation What we hope to get from students at the end: A marketing strategy proposal on how to target and connect with our customer base
Social Media Strategy and Overhaul
What do we want to do in partnership with you? We want to create a strategy in all of our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote and market Bad Dad Tea. We currently use our Instagram and Facebook but would like a more active presence to drive higher reach and engagement on both platforms. We also want to include a separate strategy to engage users through our LinkedIn. What students will be focusing on: Understanding our brand and mission. Conducting an audit of our current marketing presence and assess the effectiveness of our messaging strategy Defining the theme(s) and message(s) to be communicated and the most effective execution strategy. Developing strategies for improving our brand presence by recommending programs, tools, methods of engagement, social channels, or communication pieces. Developing strategies for increasing engagement on our various public accounts, blogs, or other marketing assets. Identifying best practices reaching the target audience. Create a tool for auditing and tracking our social media strategy performance What we hope to get at the end: We would like a strategic plan on how to actively drive growth through our social media platform.

Web Design & Optimisation Project
What do we want to do in partnership with you? We have two websites – our self-managed consumer site and our wholesale site (which is hosted by a wholesale site faire.com). We want to improve our online presence and make these sites accessible and more attractive for our target market. Students can focus on improving the current site through redesign and optimisation or creating a new site, or other recommendations based on design theory and consumer behaviour/habits. Create a design proposal including mock-ups, budget (if there are any associated costs), and timeline. Build a fully-functioning website. Or improve on the current site/s. Provide training, with documentation, on updating and maintaining the site.
